No mention of it in specs or keynote, or on here afterwards which I think is odd as the black anodised paint chipping off was one of the biggest complaints of the iPhone 5.

I'm presuming that the change to "spacey grey" is because its not an anodised finished but a solid metal colour through the metal, the same with the gold and silver correct?

No more paint chipping/flaking like the slate. Is or can anyone confirm this? If so space grey I guess is my colour (now I hope they make a Retina Macbook Pro in one!)

Yes - this video shows its colour metal not anodised finish, although the people making the video dont seem to understand this and are amazed that the colour metals don't scratch off and "shine through" like the black painted iPhone 5...DOH.
