iPhone 5S not charging after battery replacement.

I got the battery replaced at an unauthorized, but well known, shop today. When I connect the charger, the phone vibrates as usual and the charge symbol is displayed, but the percentage does not increase, and there is no heat generation.

I have tried to reboot the phone, as well as holding the power- and home button.

Any suggestions? :)
