Hi guys anyone updated already? How was it? For me I think battery improved, or maybe I just disabled LTE when im not using mobile data. I update via OTA. Heres my battery. Wifi browsing, youtube, sms, bit of calls. No games. 120% charged.

Yes, many have updated, myself included. Everything is fine.

Here is the large discussion thread from the news section on the 7.1.1 release.

a reporter tested the battery life on the iPhone since iOS 6. And according to him, thanks to iOS 7.1.1, 6 hours of use, the autonomy of the iphone 5s has increased from 100% to 76% where iOS 7.1 was dropping the range of 100% to 48% on the same test,
I wonder if this iOS also improve battery life with the ipad air

I just read this report and I'm not seeing the improvement. I'm actually seeing a little more drain than the 7.1 update. I updated my 5s over the air yesterday morning. I was interested in seeing my battery percentage after leaving it in my car. It was worse than after the 7.1 update. It was a smaller percentage than the 7 to 7.1 update, as in 93% with iOS 7.0 that dropped to 85-6% after 7.1. Yesterday it was at 81-83%. YMMV

It was the iPhone 5 to get the test I believe
