This iPhone 5s is due for an upgrade. And this one has this dent on the top side. Although it doesn't affect the functionality of the phone, I'd like to replace it and make it look good before I put it up for sale.

So my question is, is that a single part like the iPhone 4 or is it the whole bottom case?

You'll have to replace the entire housing, which means you have to take the phone completely apart.

Yeah, it does look like it's the entire housing. I have a feeling you'll get more money selling it as is than fixing it then selling.

Seeing as you can pick up a Grade A condition 5S for £140, it's just not economically viable to repair. Take the hit and sell as-is.

that and unless you don't know what you're doing you'll ruin the whole device. and any housings will not be genuine apple ones as well.
