No need to be frustrated, I read all of those threads and no one was asking about it from carriers, just from apple.com. Its a worthwhile question to ask and the VZ rep I spoke to was confused for sure.

Yes, chill out foes. I know there are many pre order threads in this forum. Many people including myself is puzzled. Hopefully Apple has something in mind before the 20th.

Like one of you said, its going to be a zoo at the Apple store. I'm confident that all the Apple Store staff hated it as well. The mail order has worked before, don't know why they decided to change. Keeping my fingers cross, perhaps they are working with the delivery carrier... I don't know. But having people going to the store just doesn't sense to me.

I bet since there is no pre order, the stocks of both the the 5s and 5c will be higher than previous years at the stores
