I have recently noticed that when I unlock my 5s -- and in particular go into Safari that the screen seems like the retina display hasn't "turned on." After an indeterminate amount of time it kicks in and everything is normal.
I am finding though that this is happening more and more often, and the delay between retina being "off" and then turning "on" is getting longer and longer -- lasting up to a couple minutes last night.
The best way to describe it in safari is that all of the text looks like it is runny. I have started to notice this happening when switching between applications.
I tried to take a screen shot of it when it happened last. When I went back to the picture later in the day, everything looked normal. So I don't think this is a software issue...
Of course my applecare ran out a couple weeks ago. Any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks!
