Hey guys,

I went on launch day to a local small AT&T place and was the first one there at 9:30am they had plenty of 5s phones but only in space grey. I ordered one in silver. Received it today very quick shipping.

Overall it's a great device, I wasn't impressed with ios7 on my 4s or even the 5s until I updated to 7.1. It's much more fluent and quick and the animations are quicker.

I believe it's basically a supercharged iPhone 5 which we all expected. I basically got the phone for free because I sold my 4s for 285.

All in all it's a great device, but if I owned the five I probably wouldn't update for touch ID.

good stuff, fiancé is getting the gold 5s soon but I didn't feel the need to pay full price or upgrade. I'll hold for the 6.

You mean 7.0.1 not 7.1

close enough. why don't they just name them 7.1, they never get close to 7.7, 7.8 or 7.9?

.01, .02 releases imply minor, bug fix release.

.1 releases imply significant feature releases but on current platform

whole number releases imply new platform/paradigm shift.

Oh my word, what an amazing review. Beats all other reviews I've read. So much detail and insight into the new device.
