when did you order, any confirmation email or update? it could be from Oct 1-31.

i just ordered today so, im afraid i might be stuck for a whole month waiting on the phone,

uh oh, yea you may wait for a while UNLESS you ordered a space grey. you may get it a lot sooner. you don't have an apple store/att/verizon/sprint or tmobile store near you?

when in to two t-mobile stores and the 16gb gold was unavailable

depends on carrier or if you ordered through apple. apparently every iPhone release, people need to start threads on when their's ships so everyone else can be jealous.

yea you'll be waiting a while. ordered a gold 16GB at att for my fiance on launch day and it's still in "preparing to ship" status.
