Sometimes when opening apps like Mail or Safari my 5S just resprings....it definitely is not a restart as it is faster and my phone stays unlocked. Battery can't be a problem as i have had 90% the last time the respring happened.
The battery usage counter also resets and only shows "-".

I have stock iOS 7.0.4 on my 5S.

Anyone else have that happening?

Yes it is pretty rare but it happens and i never had this happen with my old 4S.

I have the same issue. It happens about 4 - 5 times a week.

It takes about 10 seconds for iPhone to work again, I don't know why this happens... I think this issue is on iPhone 5s only.

iOS 7 is still not completely optimized for 64-bit. Some people are having re-springs while others have complete restart.

It's an iOS 7 issue on the 5s. I swapped out 2 phones trying to get rid of it. It still happens on my 3rd phone, but less often than the first 2. I used to think it was a hardware issue, but my wife had the same problem on her 5s, so I'm pretty sure it's just iOS 7.

iPhone 5S sometimes restarts springboard

As soon as the next official update is launched I'm hoping all these issues go away, because as it stands on my 5s it's becoming a more common occurrence; random re-springs, restarts etc.

To me it started happening all of a sudden! Since that it happens about 1time per week...
