iPhone 5s sporadic rotations in iOS 8.02

I can rotate my phone from portrait to landscape but when I go to rotate back, the screen does not rotate unless I turn it upside down. Once I turn it upside down then I could turn the phone right side up and the screen will be correct. Also some of my apps are upside down. If I use Shazam the whole screen is upside down. And sometimes my phone takes upside down Photos. I've tried rebooting the phone and sometimes that works, but most of the time seems to go back to the odd rotating issue....

If anyone has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated... thank you

Happens to me on my iPad air and my iPhone 6. Super annoying as only a reboot seems to fix the issue
