iPhone 5S T-Mobile contract free the same as buying AT&T full priced?

Ordered a iPhone 5s 16GB Gold (GSM) T-Mobile Unlocked through Apple.com. Just wanna make sure that it'll work with AT&T, as would it be the same as buying a AT&T 5s full priced?
 
No one knows. Originally it said unlocked but that wording has now been removed. We will find out when someone inserts a sim card from at&t...

It still says unlocked on the right pane when you select a model, and my order confirmation email also says unlocked.
 
My order says unlocked, so if it happens to be locked I will start calling them every minute and showing up to the apple store.... however in the notes it says also that it works with international sims so....
 
I suspect so but since Tmobile is now an official carrier and does have some different bands it's not 100%.

I bought a sim free / full price iPhone 5 ATT last year on launch day and it was unlocked and I put in my at the time non official Tmobile sim and it worked. Once they became official carrier and refarmed their spectrum it says 4G on it.

Now you run risk on getting a Tmobile version and only getting 4G on ATT and not LTE. But if it is unlocked it will work with ATT just may effect internet speed thats all.

LTE will work with every cell carrier. The T-Mobile 5S is identical in every possible way to the AT&T version.

Yeah the T mobile and AT&T unlocked have the exact same bands, and are identical.
 
Should be unlocked.. I just waited on the phone for 30+ minutes.. They still aren't able to confirm, but this screenshot should help if I need to contact Apple Care if the phone is indeed locked.


He also waived the $10 expedited shipping fee for the long hold time!! :D

Also, rep mentioned that the iPhone is shipping from China.
