Has anyone figured out how to fix the issue of all of sudden your touch ID data gets removed and touch ID functionality is disabled? When I try to turn it back on, I get Failed, try again later message.

I've done factory reset, and that lasted for about a couple hours before going back to disabled.

have you heard of sarcasm?:p:apple:

Sure, that works really well with the flurry of Android users with guilty conscience who spend an inordinate amount of time on this sub forum.

Anyway, to answer your question, perhaps it's a hardware defect. TouchID can fail just like any other hardware in the iPhone.

Kinda funny how legit apple customers, who happen to DARE post a complaint, are also lumped in with the "Android trolls"

I've never had this happen on my 5s or 6+. Is there any certain activity that seems to cause it?

Another thread made by a Samsung employer.

Seriously?

You didn't happen to have a screen replaced did you?

I just got the screen replaced by Apple which fixed the issue... Only 2 months out of the warranty for $140. Oh well. Things are back to normal so I'm happy.
