I have a pertinent issue with my beloved iPhone 5S!
For the past couple of weeks my camera viewfinder occasionally goes in to a purple/blue haze then app freezes! This issue is only occurring with the rear camera. I need to restart the app a few times before it goes to back to normal.
If I take a picture with this hazey viewfinder.. the picture is has the haze! (see screenshot below)
I have tried hard reset it with iTunes and the issue keeps coming back.
Even upgraded to iOS 8.4 from 8.3 issue still pops up time to time.
The Apple warranty has expired.. other than this issue the phone is in mint condition and works fine.
I am at a loss for ideas.. anyone heard of this issue?
Nothing on Google regarding this issue on an iPhone 5S either!
PS. This is my second replacement iPhone 5S.. the issue started after 4-5 months of use.. not sure if that is linked.
