iPhone 5S warranty: Does it exist with a contract?

I'm about to get an iPhone 5S gold 16gb with T-Mobile and I'm wondering if the year warranty Apple has covers iPhones with a contract. Not purchased directly from the Apple store.

Don't know about other countries, but from where I'm at, with or without contract, iPhones get the same 1 year warranty.

Yep you get that one year warranty regardless of where.

As long as you buy it in the US, you'll get the standard 1 year warranty for defects from Apple.

What about the iPhone 4? My Cousin bought his and said he didn't think he got a warranty with his iPhone. He bought it new, with a contract.

No matter what iPhone you get, even if bought through T-Mobile, you get the standard one year warranty through Apple. If anything is wrong, you can take it to Apple and avoid T-Mobile.
