Iphone 5S which colour is best?

Hi guys

I think it is about time I upgraded my old iPhone 3G (yes 3G not even 3GS!).

I am going to order an iPhone 5S from Apple's website (UK) (get it mid October?)

Anyway I am not sure what colour to get :/

Here are my views / questions:

Space Grey - Is this the same colour as the iPhone 5?

Gold - Maybe more of a girls colour / seems to be most sold out?

Silver - Not sure :/

What do you guys make of the colours?

This is a very subjective topic. I personally like Space Gray myself, even though it's the worst name for a color. But that doesn't mean you have to like it.

Get what you want!
 
Tell you the truth, it depends on you, and what you like not what others like. It will be all over the the place as to which color the members here like or dislike. Looks as if Apple is selling a whole bunch of Champagne colored ones over the others, but that to is an individual taste.

Just get what you want and never mind what others say ;)
 
I went for Gold and I'm a guy, to be it's the best looking iPhone so far - the contrast of the gold and white look nice - the "space gray" and silver models look like they tried and failed to blend the glass and aluminium.

I am coming from a slate iPhone 5 so I also wanted something different.

Scratches and scuffs should show up less than space gray too.
 
saw them in person in store, all 3 look good IMO. have white 4S so decided to order gray. i think gray looks good in person vs. photo. looks quite different than the black of the 5, an employee held his black 5 side-by-side with gray, and IMO gray looked better.

slightly off-topic: the 5c colors look much better in person than in photos, and the feel is great (although a bit slick). if the 5c had the tech of the 5s I would get a 5c for a different look. i think both 5c and 5s look great, 5c not cheap looking!
 
Space Grey looks really neat in person, didn't like it at all from the photos online. I haven't seen any of the other colors yet because my store only received grey. I've been leaning towards a white/champagne colored 5S if I do upgrade just because so much of the OS seems to be white and it would match.. if that makes sense.
 
I like them all, but would definitely recommend checking them all out in person first. I thought the gold would look horrid, but it ended up being my favourite colour.
 
Of course get whichever color you want. The real question should be:

Which of the 3 color combinations: gold, silver, or space gray, will have a better resale value when it's time to trade it in?
 
I ended up with Space Grey, was planning on getting silver but they were sold out. Space Grey looks a lot nicer in person though - the color is lighter than it looks in photos, but that is a good thing. The home button ring is black, so it is the least noticeable of the three.

The Gold looks incredibly nice, it is super subtle and not really flashy, with the exception of the home button which looks quite gaudy. I really think they should have colored it white somehow as the darker gold color really sticks out. A bit disappointing as the body looks great.

The silver looks pretty much like the 5 in silver, the home button looks nicer than the gold as it has less contrast.
 
Here's my sage advice :

Get something new. My 5 is white and that got tired like a week after I had it.
