iPhone 5s white light when I unlock with my finger?

I just bought a white 16GB iPhone 5s and when I unlock the phone with my fingers using TouchID the screen is flashes white for a split second in the top left hand corner before returning to normal.

Is this happening to anyone else? Should I call apple or just not worry about it?

don't have the 5s yet, but I'm getting that same flash when I open up random apps on iOS 7. I've submitted a bug report from Apple. but i'm pretty sure it's a software bug. Try doing a hard reset. A mobile engineer friend told me that it's a z-axis bug
 
I have a white/silver and it doesn't do this.

Sounds like light is leaking somehow. Odd.

I'd take it in.
 
I'm not sure I follow...

It's as if the top left corner of the screen is under a bright light when it transitions from the lock to home screen. The pixels are near white in color for a brief moment
 
Same thing happens to me...

Same thing started happening with me within the first few days of getting my new phone. It also made an appearance when I closed some apps... :mad:

Will take it to an iStore to find out what's what. :confused:

Please help me out here I am experiencing the same here, what was the reply you got from the store regarding the back light
