Iphone 5's with ios 6 still being handed out...

Hey guys just FYI, I got my moms iPhone 5 replaced due to water damage and the phone still had ios 6.1.4. Sadly I had to restore to ios 7 because the backup wouldn't work with ios 6. So if anyone is still looking for ios 6 iphone 5, the apple store is worth a shot.

It's really hit or miss, so hard to really say what you will (or won't) get, but, yeah, there are some with iOS 6 still on them.

When my iPod touch 5th gen was replaced, the day after iOS 7 came out, I got iOS 6, but also had to restore from and iOS 7 backup. It's a good thing I like iOS 7!

Yeah they still give them out. I had a Verizon iPhone 5 replaced last week and it had iOS 6 on it.
