When's the soonest we'll find out if the iPhone 6 4.7' version has 2GB RAM or not?

People who were at the Apple event, do they not get to try out the phone? Can they not install geekbench/some sort of software and find out whether it has 1 or 2GB of RAM?

Unfortunately we pretty much already know it has just 1gb of RAM but for an actual teardown that usually happens on the first day it's available for sale (Sept 19th).

Is this due to the geekbench score that was leaked yesterday/day before yesterday?

If so, I read somewhere that when they took the EXIF data from the photo allegedly taken from the iPhone 6, it was actually an iPhone 5S that had taken the picture.

I have a feeling it'll be 2GB. While iOS 7 seemed to work fine on a 5s with 1GB RAM, the added features of iOS 8 as well as the ability to have more information displayed within an app within landscape (thus requiring more resources), it might just happen. We'll probably see once the reviews for the phones are out of the embargo next Wednesday (or if the reviewers happen to go a GeekBench test and have it public).
