Any information regarding iPhone 6/6+ lightning out under MFi program? This information will be helpful purchasing external amp/DAC for iPhone. Does it allow bypassing iPhone's DAC and amp?

Any available information on 3.5 jack output impedance? My current Westone 4R has 31 ohms impedance. I think iPhone 6 sounds better than previous iPhone 5/5S. How is iPhone 6's Cirrus Logic 338S1201 Audio Codec different from previous Cirrus Logic 338S1077 Audio Codec?
