Iphone 6 & 6+ NFC question

Apple Pay works via NFC I understand that. But, do you guys think we can use the NFC for anything else like file sharing and those NFC tags?

I'm just guessing, but I don't think apple will leave the NFC chip open to us. I hope it's not locked only for the Apple Pay feature.

The iPhone 6 is an Apple product. Of course it'll be locked to only Apple Pay.

Apple never really said whether or not it was open to devs, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was locked up.
