Hi - If you notice, this year its possible to buy the Verizon iPhone at full price from online from the apple store, however you need to select a monthly plan. I wanted to buy the Verizon iPhone to use it on T-mobile, so later i do have an option to switch to Verizon and do not a Verizon plan or even a month.
