Iphone 6+ Airdrop not working, help please.

My 6+ can receive airdrop from both Macs and other iPhones but cannot send Airdrop files. When I chose a picture for example to send, it does not show any nearby devices to share the file with. However other devices can see my Iphone and Airdrop files to me. WTF?! any clues?
