I personally don't mind the bump for the camera on the new phones. I think the new design is pretty neat and as long as the camera is not more prone to damage because of the bump then it is ok with me. However, why do all of the tech specs of the device show the thickness of the phone as the thinner portion instead of the thickest portion? 6.9mm is the thickness from the glass to the back metal of the phone, but wouldn't the true thickness of the phone be the thickness of the glass to the camera?

One example of something like this happening in the past was when the iPhone originally came out and apple claimed it was the thinnest smart phone, Samsung said that their blackjack was thinner than the iPhone but due to the fact that it had a bulge for the camera it couldn't claim that the phone was thinner. It just seems like to me that if Samsung couldn't make a claim that the blackjack was thinner then apple shouldn't be able to use the thinnest part of the phone as the demension for the tech spec.
