iPhone 6 and 6 plus app optimization

So I know the resolutions on both the iPhone 6 and 6 plus are higher and thus apps requiring updating to accommodate this. I had a question regarding this accommodation for each device. I noticed with the Facebook app for example, although this is certainly true for others, that the icons and pictures within the app look beautiful and are appropriately sized on the 6 plus. On the 6 however, everything looks "scaled" albeit only slightly. Buttons look less crispy and almost a tad blurry. Do all apps for the 6 only scale up since the device display is only 0.7 inches larger?

good point, the 6 plus does have a higher pixel density.
