So, there has been multiple thread of the new generation iPhones taking longer to charge.
Since the introduction of the iPad with Retina Display, of course; this is expected.

But, I've read that newer Mac's have the ability to charge devices that require extra juice from 'high-power USB' is this true?

Is this just one particular USB on any machine? Or is it all of the USB's?
