Has anyone else noticed that their new iPhone is getting a dent around the headphone jack? On my 6+ I noticed a small Mark the other day. I believe the Mark was caused by putting the headphone cord into the socket in my car. The head of the cord lines up perfectly with the mark.

A close friend of mine with a 6 has experienced the same thing, only worse. He has an actual small dent just from putting headphones in.

Has anyone else noticed this? If it's not a dent, it might be a small mark in the anodized aluminum.

Now that you brought this up, upon closer inspection, I notice a scratch near the edge of my headphone jack. I don't know if that came from the factory like that or it was caused be the headphones.

I also noticed a small scratch near the speaker.

I only had the phone a like 2 days'ish.

I wonder if these scratches are from the factory.

Nothing here.

I read this post this morning and then took a look at my 6 Plus headphone jack.

It's got a very small dent in the side! I've had the phone for 2 weeks. I've been taking care of this and have it in a case. Obviously when you go to plug in headphones you can slightly miss or touch the side. I've been pretty careful and not hard on it. I can't help but think that the aluminum on this phone is way, way too malleable.

Had my 6 since 9/20. Headphones used on a daily basis, as well as a plug into my car's aux port.

Nothing.

A small "Mark"? Like Mark Wahlberg's face is showing up on the bottom of your phone? In all honesty though, could you please post a photo or two?

Mine! Initially(about few months back) had a very small dent not visible to the naked eye. It couldn't have been by dropping. I've never had my phone (6plus) drop like that before. Which makes me think that it's a construction flaw. And then few days ago after using the headphone jack again after months, i saw an increase in size of the dent at the same spot! Could it be that that segment of the unibody is weak?!?!
