So per this https://www.macrumors.com/2014/09/22/iphone-6-and-6-plus-charging/ , I did some measurements with my iPad Air and iPhone 6.
Measurements are done with screen turned off.
iPad Air (74% charge)
iPhone charger: 5.05V @ 0.9A
iPad charger: 5.05V @ 1.8A
iPhone 6 (61% charge)
iPhone charger: 5.05V @ 0.9A
iPad charger: 5.05V @ 1.05A
So my question is - why the iPhone 6 charging amperage is so small when using an iPad charger?
