Iphone 6 Battery DRAINING!!

I have an Iphone 6 (64gb Black) and I'm having serious problems with the battery life, I've been advised to Reset Network Settings & also backup and restore the phone to hopefully get rid of any faults and nothing seems to be working. My WhatsApp seems to be using the most battery at the moment, I know it hasn't update to support Iphone 6 / 6 Plus resolution yet so wanted to see if anyone else is having battery life problems with their new Phones from Apple!

you should do a quick search of battery life. this topic has been touched on quite a bit.

Got any usage info? Screenshots? There's been a few people with poor battery, but also a LOT more praising the 6 battery life. If you think it is whatsapp draining the battery maybe delete the app and see if the phone behaves normal afterwards, then try re installing and going from there...

It got you to read this post so I would say yes, it was needed. I logged on here to get advice for my handset which is draining more power that a small village in Serbia. I think as an experienced and old member of this forum you should address new members with a bit of guidance on how to use a forum rather than slating their title to the post. thanks for the link but it doesn't work.

That is such a sensible response and I shall try that for a day and see if my battery life changes, 3 of my friends who got the phone on the same day as me aren't having any problems with their battery which makes me more concerned.

• Do you think you're the first person to ever have battery drain issues?
• Do you think this forum might come equipped with some form of forum search for researching past issues?

It's just as well. He's already indicated that it would've been too much work and too time-consuming for HIM to have to go through the search results, so I don't see much point in fixing it.

Try reducing the screen brightness. Makes a massive difference on the i5

If you do a restore to an earlier date it will fix it.

I had my battery draining like crazy while my phone was getting extremely hot!

Did everything you can think of to fix it and nothing worked...untill i decided to do a restore to an earlier back up ( the backup i did when i got my 6 plus) and bingo back to normal! try it out

I had also battery problems with my iphone after 4 hours it was dead. Then I did a restore and used icloud backup now my battery life is great! Guess it was a software issue for me
