I finally got a chance to set up my iPhone 6 last night (busy weekend). Yes, I did restore from backup. Everything seems to run smoothly, and I'm glad I have all my text messages saved. What I am noticing is that the battery life does not seem as good as I was hoping. When it says up to 10 hours of 4G LTE usage, I was expecting at least somewhere in that range. I'm not going to hit 10 hours even with light usage here and there throughout the day. I don't have background app refreshing on, and my brightness is probably about 30%. Do you think a full cycle charge will help? I'm skeptical about that because I've never seen any improvements on my phone, or anyone else I know. I've read some claims that restore from backup can lead to battery issues, but I also know that I want to keep my texts, and some other wifi passwords that I have since forgotten.
