I'm not that tech savvy but I've noticed such an amazing improvement with the 6's battery switching from a 4s. Can someone explain what this battery usage mean? Both stand by and usage hours count since my last charge? Soooo... 33 hrs in total without having to recharge? If so, wowaweewa, very impress

Battery life, in particular standby, is definitely better than before.

You can think of it this way.

Standby time usually starts ticking, the moment you unplug your device. So it means the time since you last unplugged it from a full charge. Keep in mind that standby time always goes up even if your phone is in sleep mode.

Usage means the amount of time you used your phone, ie: screen on. Of course streaming music or talking on the phone while screen is turned off also counts as usage.
