Hello,

I have an iPhone 6 and today it has been acting weird. It started with the shut down screen appearing while I was typing a message, that happened at least once more. After that it automatically took a screenshot after pressing the side (power?) button to bring it out of the locked state. That has happened at least 4 times today. The screen also turned on by itself at leat 3 times as if I had pressed the home button. I tried to turn it off and on but now it's stuck with the apple logo showing up for about 4 seconds and it goes away, this goes on repeatedly without it turning on.

Does this sound like a known bug?

I bought it a little over a month ago so I have it under warranty.

For the record, I have not dropped or hit it and I updated to the latest iOS version about a week ago.

Thanks in advance!

UPDATE

I was able to turn it on by plugging it in, the battery was at 86% so that was not a problem.

Sounds like a hardware issue to me. You could try to DFU restore it, but since it is only a month old, why not take it to an Apple Store?
