iPhone 6 camera question

I've searched everywhere and have not seen anything on this so hopefully someone on here has an idea.....photos taken with the camera app look over processed and the color is very off (everything is darker, people look orange, etc) but when I take photos through text message they look great. Huge pain to take all my photos in text as the ones taken with the camera app are horrible.....any one else have this problem??
