My 5S has this issue. Once you notice it, it is quite distracting.

Unfortunately this seems normal... I also examined others' phones, and many of them (not all) had non-uniform displays. I suspect only few iPhones have perfectly uniform display.

But as givmeabrek said, what you have is a very good display
 
My 6 was almost identical and from what I saw it was one of the 'better' screens...my 6S on the other hand doesn't have this issue.

With normal use I really didn't notice it on the 6, not enough to go thru the hassle of going to Apple about it. It can be annoying if you use an all white screen a lot though I'd imagine.
 
Brand new iPhone 6s and its got similar unevenness. A bit yellower at top 1/4. But from all the things I've read, not worth trying for perfect as it's hard to find.
