iPhone 6 Demo Models on Display at Apple Store

Hi. I was at the Apple Store today and one of the iPhone 6's on display by the door was out of the demo mode. The app that was running was on the springboard and was called "Ray Viewer". Does anyone know anything about this internal application and what it does? Thanks!
