iPhone 6+ double-tap function on the 5S?

iPhone 5S user here. From what I understand, the new 6+ has a double-tap (different than double click) function that gets you to Reachability mode. Can 5S or 6 users also program double-tap for something? It would be nice to be able to double-tap to get into the app switcher, instead of double-clicking.

Reachability works the same way on the 6 as the 6+. I'm not sure if it works on the 5S or not. Other than enabling or disabling it, there are no configuration options.
