its stuck on apple logo. I tried updating and it took forever and then it just stopped. I end tried recboot which is to take it out of recovery without restoring but that didn't work. Any suggestions? If I restore will I loose all my pictures and texts?

Was your memory nearly full before attempting the update? I have seen cases where a phone ends up freezing in similar situations. If iTunes is giving you an error 4013, then you are in big trouble, data-wise.

You have already tried ReiBoot. I would suggest you try the following, if you haven't already:
  • Update iTunes to the latest version
  • Try a hard reset (Home & Power button for 10 secs)
  • Use a genuine Apple Lightning connector
  • Use 3uTools for putting it in and out of Recovery Mode
  • Use 3uTools to flash the firmware (you can't downgrade). Note, there is a feature that protects the data but I have never tried it so I can't guarantee it.
Try to let things run it's course to see if iTunes gives you an error message. If you do get an error 4013, the phone is recoverable but the data will be lost.
