My wife and I received our iPhone 6's yesterday, but didn't have time to open them until today. When we opened them, mine was perfectly fine, but hers, after a close inspection, had a small chip out of the glass, near the bottom on the side, enough where I got some glass stuck on my finger. Did this happen to anyone else?

I called Apple and they're sending a replacement phone... But my wife is bummed that she can't use her new toy yet.

Forgive me, maybe this is a dumb question, but why can't she use her phone? If they are sending her a replacement can't she just use the new one in the meantime? Or did she have to return hers first?

They said if it cracked then it'd be a paid repair. We're playing it safe. She's using my old 5s right now.
