Apologies if this has been asked before, I think I'm running out of time to try and save this thing. I woke up last night to see my phone had a small amount of liquid spilled on it (I don't even think the sensors are tripped), and was giving the This Accessory is Not Compatible message. Foolishly I didn't think this was a big deal as there wasn't much liquid, so set it aside and went back to sleep (it was the middle of the night).

Woke up again to see it has not stopped trying to restart itself - stuck on the white screen with the Apple logo, followed by the black power down screen. I put it in front of a fan and finally have rice to put it in, but any suggestions on how I can get it to STOP trying to restart? Is there any hope of saving this thing at this point?

Thanks in advance.

If drying it out doesn't stop it, then it's fried. Once it has water damage and it's stuck booting the phones pretty much done from my experience.
