iPhone 6 Headphone Connection Jack Issue

Does anyone have the same issue, which is discussed in this thread?

This issue is about ..

• random start / stop of playing music,

• envoke Siri / voice command,

• skipping songs

when the connector is rotated in the connection jack.

Especially non-apple headphones seem to provoke it.

I swapped my device at the genius bar last week and, unfortunately, the problem persists.

I swapped my device at the genius bar last week and, unfortunately, the problem persists.

Poorly made headsets tend to not meet certain specs and causes arcing that intentionally actuates controls or even causes computers to crash. I had one of those in the past.

Since my headset is from Beyerdynamics and worked well with a couple of Apple-Devices, this doesnt concern my case nor those in the thread i shared.

I recommend giving them a ring...it may be replaceable under warranty as a defect.
