I just upgraded my 5 to a 6, primarily due to a failing battery in my 5. I love the 6's screen, but I took it to the gym today and was disappointed to find the volume of the headphone jack is much lower than my 5. It rendered by Bose earbuds almost unusable. I have the volume maxed and the limit is off.

I have read complaints about the ear piece volume here but very few complaints about the reduced headphone jack volume. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there any chance Apple will address this in the next update, if it can even be adjusted?

I've been using Bluetooth earbuds, hadn't even plugged a set of wired ones into the jack of my 6+, but just dug out an old pair of cheapie wired Koss earbuds and plugged them in. When turned all the way up, they were louder than I'd care to listen to for very long.
