iphone 6 ios 8.0.2 Texting error to landscape mode and wont return

While I text or type in safari, my iphone 6 screen automatically flips to landscape mode and won't return back. I didn't even tilt the phone to trigger landscape mode.

Has anyone experienced this? How can I resolve this issue?

Yes. I've gotten stuck in landscape mode doing other things. Others have report d it getting stuck to the point where they needed to turn their device off.

I think it's been reported before. Try turning your phone upside down, then back to rightside up.

Turning phone upside down whatever didn't work for me. Only rebooting my phone got it worked to normal. I will see if this problem arises again after.
