So i just had an interesting experience my iPhone froze solid during a call. I had the handset up to my head and as i lowered it to end the call or type a digit the screen remained black. I hit the power button several times no waking. I then tried the home button 3 times and the screen remained black and the call audio was still running. I then had to force re-boot the phone to regain control and end the call. I have VOLTE enabled on my handset and i was on wifi at home. I have already talked to apple care they have zero ideas except wipe the phone. I did not set the device up from a backup it was virgin from the factory i only side loaded the data from iCloud and app store one by one. I have had the black screen during call bug on my versions of the OS on many phones but a manual input from sleep wake or home always jarred it out of what ever state it was in and i could then go back to the call and regain control. This is definitely a bug i have not seen here yet. I was just wondering if other people are having it. I did not have this bug on my iPhone 5 running iOS 8 since the GM made it out the back door. I have had all the known issues of course but not the phone bug. If i should have placed this in the bug thread MOD please move it.
