After receiving my new iPhone 6 today i did a backup of my old 5 and started to install the 6 from the Backup...only to find that the process would break up while restoring/copying apps to the phone. (thought it may be just some background activity and let it run for a couple of houres with no progress at all)
After restarting both my macbook and the Phone i continued the process only to find it bug out/hang after a couple of apps again. (1-5, and also happens on apple apps, not only third party)

It seems to me that there is some Bug in the communication between itunes and the iPhone as the last copied app works fine on the phone but itunes still thinks it is being copied/installed.

Restarting a new sync every couple of apps is ... lets be polite ... annoying!
Well, only 15 apps to go (out of 100) so i may be done soon....lets hope the same problem does not arise with photos and or music....that would be mucn more then annoying.

If this is just a rare odd hickup with my specific config...well hard to avoid those, but on the other hand this is so much beyond "it just works" that it just does not feel apple-like. No time out, no error message only way to solve the problem is to unplug cable during sync...which many people would probably not like risk.

Ah well, when done the new toy will hopefully make up for the rough first date ;-)
