Hello,

Has anyone else had issues with iOS 8 on the 6+ blowing up wallpapers when switching to landscape?

I have it in the proper resolution but it seems anything but Apple's own wallpapers that it zooms in when going to landscape mode making the wallpaper blurry. iOS 8 bug?

What resolution are you using? You can't use 1920x1080. You probably need 1920x1920 images.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to avoid that with custom wallpapers currently. I just tried again in case something had changed in the last update and I'd missed it, but even with a 1920x1920 image (no parallax) the phone takes its 1080x1920 portrait crop, then zooms in on that when you go to landscape mode. It's a bummer, and hopefully they'll fix it sooner rather than later (which shouldn't be hard, given that the included wallpapers work properly).

EDIT: tried with 2208x2208 as well, in case it needed the rendered resolution, same deal.
