iPhone 6 live photos from iPad not working

just got the iPhone 6 and I also have an iPad Pro that can take live photos

I toke some live photos in the east days

After enabling starred album and photo stream on new iPhone 6 I noticed that live photos aren't live
photo are synced but are still photos

I'm missing something?

As I recall, iPhone 6 (and below) doesn't support Live Photos that were introduced with iPhone 6s.

wrong. they can't be taken but they can be played. I used to borrow a family member's 6S and then airdrop the live photos back to my iphone 6 soon after the 6S release.

enabling... photo stream

photo stream rather than icloud photo library? i think that could be your issue.
