Iphone 6 Logic Board

I accidentally washed my iPhone 6. When I took it for repair, they said there was a corrosion in the logic board. I asked if we could order a logic board, they found one, but the cost was around $130 for a T Mobile logic board. I know replacing the logic board is very risky, because it changes my IMEI and all sorts, but we if i replaced it, could I ever get my phone unlocked since it will be with another logic board/IMEI? And in the case that the logic board isn't unlocked prior to my purchase, how could I tell T Mobile about this situation in hopes of unlocking my phone? Thank you.
