I have a weird problem with my 6 shooting low light video. It only happens sometimes and I can never reproduce it trying to record again on the exact same spot. It has happened since I got it with my on 5s backup, starting as new and restoring from iCloud with my new 6 backup. What happens is the camera looses like 50% of the brightness after a while. And it not slowly or a fade. It goes from good to bad in an instant.

Anyone else notice this? I'm thinking it could be hardware.

If it happened once, you aren't able to reproduce it, why do you feel it's hardware?

It hasn't only happened once. Just did some testing. I found a spot where it happens maybe every two tries. And it did it on my girlfriends 6 as well.

edit: Also when it happens I can't get the brightness up to previous levels again. Trying to tap to focus or maxing exposure doesn't help. Closing and opening helps sometimes. And when it's back to "good" it takes a moment then it goes darker again. I don't even have to press record.
