My iPhone was scheduled to deliver today (10/16), but seemed to get stuck in Louisville, being listed as "held in warehouse." This isn't a big deal if it's just going to be delivered tomorrow instead, but it concerns me because they didn't provide an updated delivery date and I can't seem to find much online about this status. Could anybody provide some clarification, or is anybody having/had the same problem?

this does happen from time to time. Usually the cause is as simple as the box just didn't make it on the right truck or plane in time, or the truck/plane was full and through luck of the draw, your box had to be left behind until the next available truck/plane.

If it stays held in warehouse for longer than a day, then it's time to call UPS. But more likely then not it'll start moving soon enough.

Same thing happened to my 6. Routing went China -> Korea -> Anchorage -> Louisville. Even though it was scanned in Anchorage, the customs import scan didn't happen until Louisville, which delayed mine for about a day.

Guess I should say that its already been held for over 24 hours...since 11:30 yesterday morning. UPS online chat said yesterday that they expected it to go out today, but it did not.

Probably has to do with the delivery address change you did, someone probably has to get package and slap a new label on it.

Good point. I haven't been able to find anybody with this issue with the 6, but there was an iPhone 5 thread about the same thing. Those people actually ended up having a new phone expedited to them from Apple, hoping I don't have to do the same thing. Thanks for the replies
