The front- and back-facing camera have both stopped working, as well as the flashlight. When I open the camera app (or any other app requiring camera usage), the screen is just black. Nothing happens if I try to switch the cameras. The phone may have taken a beating just before this happened, but I’m not too sure.

I have tried to reset the whole thing multiple times, but with no luck. I therefore think there is a hardware problem.

The screen is cracked, so I doubt apple will look at it.

My question is; should I order a new screen from Ebay, change it myself, and look at the camera links inside the iPhone too ses if anything is loose?
Anyone with experience? Or should I hand it in to a iPhone-fix shop (which will break the warranty anyway).

I do not have insurance

Thanks!!

Personally, I'd take it to Apple for an out of warranty repair - it may cost a bit more but at least you know it will work 100% when you get it back
