Apple has never sold models with different RAM, only the iPad had the A5X and A6X SoC.
 
I kind of figured this. If it had 2gb RAM, Apple would've announced it during the keynote.

Yes, because customer service representatives are always reliable. I'm not going to be surprised if the 6+ has 1GB, I'm just saying you can't trust one representative to have the right information.
 
I don't think the Customer Service Reps would even be given those kind of specs. I don't take this to mean anything. I just understand this that the CSR *thinks* both models have 1GB of RAM.

Its becoming pretty common knowledge, also says so here:

I'm pretty sure the Customer Service Reps are already receiving docs about both iPhones, which include specs, etc... After all, in just a few days they are supposedly responsible for providing service and support for millions of new iPhone 6 + iPhone 6+'s.
